Frequently asked questions
Can I try a lesson for free?
Yes. Every student gets one free 30-minute trial lesson with the teacher of their choice. Pick "30 min trial" when booking: there is nothing to pay, and the lesson is confirmed straight away.
How much does a lesson cost?
€4.99 for 30 minutes, €7.99 for 45 minutes, or €9.99 for 60 minutes. You pay per lesson — there's no subscription.
How do I pay?
With a PayPal QR code or by bank transfer, right after booking. We never see or store your card or bank details.
How does the lesson actually happen?
On Google Meet. Once your teacher confirms your payment (usually within a few hours), the video call link appears in your account.
Can I move or cancel my lesson?
While it is still waiting to be confirmed, you can do both yourself: open the lesson from your account, and either pick a new time or cancel it. Nothing is charged either way. Once your teacher has confirmed it, write to info@fluentita.com at least 24 hours ahead and we will sort it out.
Do I need to speak Italian already?
No. Lessons run from complete beginner to advanced, and your teacher adjusts to you. If you are not sure where you stand, the free placement test on the site gives you a level in a few minutes.
Do I need an account?
Yes, for booking: you sign in with Google so your lesson and its video call link have somewhere to live. Every exercise on the site is free and needs no account at all.
How many lessons can I book at once?
Up to 3 at a time while they are waiting to be confirmed. Once a lesson is confirmed it no longer counts, so you can keep booking.
