Italian combined pronouns: me lo, te la, glielo

Combined direct + indirect object pronouns, such as me lo, te la, glielo, ce li, ve le.

In Italian: Pronomi combinati

When an indirect and a direct pronoun meet, the indirect goes first and its final vowel turns into an e: mi + lo = me lo, ti + la = te la, ci + li = ce li, vi + le = ve le.

gli and le both become glie- and fuse with the direct pronoun into one word: glielo, gliela, glieli, gliele — the same form whether you mean to him, to her or to them.

Te lo dico subito, glielo spiego domani: it looks alarming written out, and it is one of the things that most makes spoken Italian sound fluent.
