Italian simple future tense: parlerò, sarò, farò
The simple future tense: parlerò, avrai, sarà, faremo...
In Italian: Futuro semplice
One set of endings covers all three verb families: -ò, -ai, -à, -emo, -ete, -anno. The -are stem changes its a to an e, so parlare joins the others: parlerò, scriverò, dormirò.
The common irregulars contract their stem rather than change their endings: sarò, avrò, farò, andrò, potrò, vorrò, dovrò.
Italian also uses the future to guess about the present, which English does with must: saranno le tre — it must be about three o'clock.
Domani ___ dal dentista. (io, andare)
